First week of school; It went all well and fine. Except that the days seem to pass quite slowly. I have no idea why time flies so slowly. It's like you're experiencing hours before lessons finally finishes. School days just seem so long despite not having tutorials for the first week. Neither did we have ultra long unnecessary breaks, but just don't know why, i'm still not use to the hours of lessons.

Consecutive lectures which are rather boring and dry, i have to admit. Sitting in LT, trying to understand and absorb entirely new infomation, but they bore me at times. It's hard to understand what's being taught. Alrites, it's more of i rarely pay attention in class for that matter. Haha. I'm honest & frank.

One piece of good news: There's no Web Publishing Lecture on Mondays!! So, simply speaking i end at 2. Wow! So Mondays and Fridays will be nice nice days. And did i mention? 1st lab session, we're bombarded with our individual project, on designing our own webpage. Though it's just a pretty small assignment, nevertheless, its not so inviting when it's just the 1st session. And talking about it, i haven't even started working on it. And it's due on Thursday. That leaves me with 3 more days (excluding Sunday) to complete. Worst of all, i don't have Mircosoft Dreamweaver program and no Zip Disk, how to start larrrrrr.............

Of all subjects, i think i'm totally enjoying Arts Apprecitation. (Judging from my first lesson and i hope i'm gonna be right) Apart from Lectures, tutorials are FUN! Really! I mean, compare to mundane subjects like Maths & Biology, Arts Appreciation is something totally new and interesting. Tutorials don't seem like tutorials. Like kinda a fun-play session. Dramas, performing, doing silly stuffs. It's just not the usual kind of "seat-in-class and listen-to-teacher-rattle." Most importantly, no books, no homework, no exam. But probably 1-2 projects here and there. So i really need to open up myself and learn to cooperate with my other classmates. I am shy, you know? =p But i really need to complain about the Performing Arts lecture. Oh my my!!!! It's so darn B-O-R-I-N-G! Imagine yourself, after a long long day of lectures and following which, a 3-hour lab session on Web Publishing, afterwhich, Arts Appreciation being the last lesson of the day from 6pm-7pm. And Lin Da goes on and on and on on on about "reason why we learn theatre", "characteristics of theatre", "different types of performing arts" so on and so forth....Chunks of wordy slides after chunks of wordy slides, you just plunge yourself in the seat for an hour and she goes on and on without having to know that the contents bore the class. We didnt have to take down any notes (at least no one bothered, and don't think there was a need to). When the clock struck 7 (supposedly the end of lesson), she still continues talking for extra 5 mins!!! It was H-E-L-L!!!!!!!!! Ended at 7.05, when Liza was all tired, sleepy & hungry, ready to head home. But at least, she managed to get a seat in the bus.

All smiles, i hope i'm ready for 2nd week of school.

=))
