Set off to get food with JY over at Pasir Ris NTUC. Really had a hard time shopping for the food due to the tight budget we were given. At first it was like $30, but we bargained our way with our class treasurer till it hit $40. And mind you, it's for a class of 22 people + Lecturers. But basically we only had to get the basics like sausages, fishball and drinks. Beehoon, chicken wings, satay and otah was brought by the others. So me and JY decided that we too, should get Garlic spread, fish, oriental sausages and puddings for desserts.
Half way through our grocery shopping, we saw this group of people (most likely TP students), also there doing their grocery shopping. And wow, what a contrast. Looking at their trolley and our trolley. GREAT CONTRAST! GREAT. HUGE. Theirs was totally filled, stuffs were piling up and well, ours, the stuffs were like 'swimming' inside the trolley. Pathetic.
Then we took a bus down to Aranda lugging those grocery shopping bags. But it was still managable, how much could we have bought when the stuffs in the trolley were 'swimming'? Actually Edwin called me and JY asked him to come over to help us carry the stuffs. He gave excuses that he haven't bathed and what nots. A string of excuses, simply to sum it up : Guys aren't that helpful. haha. I have still yet to complain about guys.. later.....
Reached the club (finally), but arrived a little too early. Slacked around, went to arcade, but i only played Daytona and i would proudly say i came in 6th (and that's the last). The car pratically overturned. Would anyone ever dare to sit my car if i were to get a driving license? Tell me no.
Headed back to the chalet, and by the time we got everything started, it was 1930. Now i shall start my complains about the guys. Simply how ungentlemanly, lazy and un-helpful my class guys are. They think they have US GIRLS to serve them? Yes, they didnt even lift a finger to help out. Right from the start, from collecting money, to planning, to shopping of grocery, to bbq-ing, everything was done by US GIRLS. POWER GIRLS. We rock the world. And what did the guys do? ABSOUTELY NOTHING except to EAT. The pigs and 'dustbins' of our class, to put it in an ugly manner. Okie, only WC helped us to start the fire. Yes, you represent the whole lot of 6 guys there huh. Nahz, i would think he's the only helpful ones around. And yet after eating so much (i ate quite an amount too), the girls still ended up clearing, while the guys rushed back to room with the comfort of the air-con. How wonderful. =/ But i shan't complain. Girls, don't have to depend on Guys rite?
Went up, had some girl talk with the rest. haha. Simply hilarious. How nutty my class girls are.
Cabbed home with the company of JY. *home sweet home* So that marks the end of my Wednesday.
