Just had a cup of raw natural multi Flora honey. Bought it from New Zealand about 1.5 years ago. Don't worry, the expiry date is somewhere in 2008. My sister & mum claims that it taste like bee's backside, for i wonder how they know the actual taste of it, but on the other hand, i enjoyed every sip of it! I don't have a weird taste bud, my mum says i enjoy the taste of high-quality foods. Yes, i would say that the taste is unlike those where you get off shelf from our supermarkets.
