Today, i had a kid who pratically cried his lungs out because it was his first CPC (Children piano course) lesson. It's 2 kids in a class ( a 5 yr old girl, and a 4 yr old boy). And ironically, the girl didn't cry, but the boy did. haha. Afterall, they're kids you see. And so, his mum had to sit in for the lesson.

Last week, i had a student who cried because she didn't practice, and felt guilt i suppose. And she's only PRIMARY 1. I think she thought that i would scold her but i didn't, of course. I'm like so nice, would i even bare to scold my students? Moreover, she's a concientious student who always does her homework and stuff. And ha! Guess what, this same student forgot to bring her books to class today, so i spent that 1/2 an hour lesson doing theory. Nevermind.

Another had cramps so didn't turn up of lesson.

This is gonna be so sad, the adult couple finish their 6-month course, and they'll be stopping lesson, cause they felt that they wanted a break from piano, to go learn golf. Cool! This is the good thing about not having kids, you'll have all the time in the world to yourself.

Then then, i have this cutie little 4 yr old kid, half way through the lesson, while i was doing some explanation, she said: "Teacher, i watch hi-5 yesterday". So i went like: "okie.... very nice right, the children in the show quite hyper (of coz she doesn't know what 'hyper' means given her age.) And well, Teacher Liza here doesn't watch Hi-5, so i don't exactly know what that show is about, but i know it's some kiddy show lar. But you see, i just had to anticipate and respond to what she said.

My students are become as weird as the teacher. haha.

I'm going crazy.
