But i seriouly doubt any single one of you reading my blog is a child. Speaking of children's day.. it simply reminds me of the times in PRIMARY school where we used to hold parties & celebration in school. How sad that such events would only be left as memories. Gave my piano kids their present, and it managed to liven up boring weekly piano lessons, which (i know) they dread every saturday. Asked this 5 Year old boy, "Do you know what day is it today?" His reply was:"I know, it's Saturday!" Kids are kids. Silly answer they give, but yet, cute & lovely. Well, ironically, it's a day set aside especially for the them, yet they don't acknowledege it, and people like us (or rather ME), old already, but still bother to remember such a day. Coincidentally, he's born on 14th Feb, so there, i asked him again, "Did your mummy tell you what special day is 14 Feb?" Well, of course, i wouldn't expect him to know it's V-day. And his reply, yet again was :"Ya i know, it's a Monday." Haha... little boy, your birthday day changes every year. The reason why i enjoy relating to kids is because they amuse you in a silly, yet interesting manner.
Yesterday was my 2nd day at work. And i 'walked into' a wall while delivering documents. Yes, i literally rammed into the wall. Don't know what has gotten into me, but yesterday's workload was tremendously overwhelming. Thank goodness it was lunch time and the crowd was HUGE, and yes, i had to embarass myself by ramming into a wall. Thanks goodness... (sense the tinge of sarcasim) I took 2 hours to clear the outgoing mails, OT for 1/2 an hour cause i couldn't clear the mails in time, and i left even without clearing everything. Was too tired. Hetic day, it was. Since i have to clear the outgoing mails DAILY which amounts of 1 regular -sized shopping bag, i've learnt that 3 A4- size paper & an envelope weighs EXACTLY 21g. Postage: 23c stamp. Incase if you're thinking i'm such a typical science student, such that every substance done in the lab has to be weighed out before conducting an experiment, and this technique has to be applied to work, you've hit the jackpot. Almost every mail has to be weighed so that i'll know the postage fee. Incase, the mail gets bounce back.
Now, i can't believe i'm working 6 FULL-DAYS a week.
