This morning i left my house without wearing a watch. The watch is something i can't do without when i'm out but since i was running late this morning, i didn't quite bother to go back home to grab it. So yea... i went out without a watch thinking that i could rely on my phone for the time. And boy! It was a BIG mistake.
Reported for work at 8am today. The manager came in like hmmm 20 mins late. Anyway nevermind about that. Did all the distributing and prepartion for the programme. Then i was made to sit outside the conference room to ensure that all the guest get their name tag. Was pretty free the whole time. So i meddled with my phone, sms-ing people and GUESS WHAT?!? My stupid phone died on me. I charged the battery full last night and i have no idea how come the screen went blank halfway. Rude phone! So i switched off the phone, took out the battery, took out the sim card. Repeated it umpteen times, do whatever was possible to revive the phone but to no avail. :( And funnily, the mini display could work but not the main one. It's a clamshell phone by the way. So i figured out the that phone is still working technically, just that it was unable to show the images. Made a call to the bf and grumbled/complained to him that my phone died, and worst of all, i had abslolutely no sense of timing. And miraclously, by the time we hang up several minutes later, the phone was working. Phew! I was back on track with time.
Ended work at 12 noon and rushed down to the agency to hand in my time sheet since today is my last day of work. On the way there, my mini handbag strap broke. Argh whatever.
Then i had to rush to the other end of Singapore for interview with Republic Poly at Woodlands. While making my way there, it started pouring, raining cats and dog. I had no umbrella. Thankfully, it's sheltered all the way from the bus stop into the campus. Was done with the informal interview by half an hour. Lunched at the canteen. While chewing on my beef bolognaise and sipping on my tasty mushroom soup, MY PHONE DIED AGAIN. For no apparent reason once again. But i guess it's the flipping mechanism that's the root of the problem.
Can anyone get any unluckier than this? I wonder......
Need to rush down for piano lesson later. I HOPE NOTHING'S GONNA HAPPEN!!!! -pray hard-
