I've been working for a month and well, i've got no complains except that i've never walked that much in my whole entire life. Our dearest National University of Singapore stands on a hill and the steep slope is what i conquer everyday. The whole university is in such a hap-hazard manner such that i'm so reliant on the sign boards to take me to my destination, but a minute after, i realise that the signboards are super unrealiable cause they disppear suddenly and just how a 4 step stair way leads you to another level. I always feel so lost in there. Aside from the fact that i'm a total direction idiot.
Another thing, i seriously think i must do something about my Chinese. Almost all the people in the engineering departments are Chinese Nationals and..... my mandarin is like... a total throw face if i were to speak to them. (i shan't elaborate further). 'Brush up' is the word. (;
Zhi Zhao was asking me if i find working fun, and i said, "working isn't meant to be fun." And guess what was his reply? "It's time to change your mentality."Oh noss! Did i say something wrong?But 'fun" isn't the appopriate word to use. Yes, it's enjoyable but not exactly FUN. +)
