Went for dinner at Barfly yesterday with Xin Bei. Fine Dining, nice ambience, soothing music. Both of us were all set in for the mood. Happily settled for the so very comfortable cushion seats at the very most cosy obscure corner of the bar. Along came the waitress with the menu and serving us a glass of water. And guess what?!? And the most embarassing moment had to come.... my phone rang...... in the tune of SUPER MARIO! OMG.... hellos? It's like a fine dining place.. with jazz-like music and i had to spoil my entire lifetime reputation with such a ringtone!! Xin Bei just glared at me..while the waitress was filling the glass and me answering the bf's call. Not long after, bread was served, and my dearest girlfriend (who tried so hard to be feminine), dropped the bread and it nearly rolled to the floor. Ah huh... the moral of the story? We two ladies are NOT SUITED for such places. We talk and laugh at the top of our voices. Probably the most uncultured poeple around. Haha. Our next date will be at, THE HAWKER CENTRE. =p

Work: Trip to Germany & Switzerland has been confirmed. Yay! Julian and I managed to convince our communist mindset boss not to give us a bond. =) I'll be away for 10 days!

Somehow i managed to come to my senses, like finally. Resumed driving after a long 1 year break. Change instructor. He's like a million times better than the previous. Last Sunday was my "first lesson" and he commented that i'm not bad, only a bit kan cheong the first 15 mins cause i was afraid of stall-ing engine la! Can't blame me ks! I've parted with the gears, brake and accelerator for a good 1 year 2 mths! Practical test on 1st July 2008. I'll give it a shot before my advance theory expires on 11th July. Super kan cheong can! Try hard Liza!!!! I will... this is a promise i make to myself. (:
