I've been on a look out for a new job, hoping to jump to a "better ship". What' s happening to my current job is that things are getting too rigid & inflexible. I feel that I'm not getting enough support from my boss. Colleagues are great! But the working "air" is polluting my mood. I'm not desperate to leave, but having worked in this company for coming 3 years, i guess it's about time to explore other opportunities. I've been to quite a number of interviews (also sales positions), but there's no positive response from any company. I don't know why. It makes me feel so negative of myself, like as if my "market value" has dropped/deteriorated. Die la... I'm still young and my market value is no longer there!!!?!!?!! Alot of questions have been running through my mind:
1) Has my interview "skills" gone rusty?
2) Do employers really prefer fresh grads? There's so much competition now especially when it's the time of the year where poly/Uni people are graduating!
3) Am i asking for too much pay? Yes, i will only leave if the monetary rewards are better.
4) Do i really need a degree to secure myself a better job in future?
Jobs satisfaction is one, but for sure is that i will only leave if i'm offered a higher paying job than my current. Haiz.. will continue to job hunt till i find a suitable one. :) JIA YOU LIZA!!!
Talk about job.. SUPER SIAN LARS! It's the Lunar New Year! Don't wanna let work dampen my mood! Shall enjoy our company reunion dinner tomorrow!
